The Club
With a history dating back to February 1903, Lilydale Swimming Club is the second oldest club in Victoria. Having swum for many years at the outdoor Lilydale Pool, which the people of Lilydale dug out, the club relocated to the indoor year-round Centenary Pool in Kilsyth in 1989. Since then numbers have fluctuated and the club is currently celebrating its centenary with increased numbers of swimmers and success in the pool. Led by our Head Coach, Neil Davis, and assistant coaches, Michael Davis, Ann Longridge, Brad Gibbs and Kirsten Bishop, swimmers are enjoying doing personal best times at club and interclub events.
New swimmers are welcome to join, whether they wish to compete or simply improve their skill and fitness. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, family club where all members of the family can involve themselves. The club motto is Serving the youth in our community for 100 years
