All Swimmers FINS:

It is preferred that Long Fins are used (and not cut down). In certain circumstances Short Fins maybe necessary for certain individuals. If swimmers already have short fins then that is fine.

All Swimmers KICK BOARDS:

The Club can supply a number of kick boards. There are however situations where there are not enough to go around or if we are away on a club trip where they are not accessible. For this reason I promote each swimmer having their own kick board. It is possible to get KICK BOARDS that double as pool buoys.

JX and State Squad PULL BOUYS:

Hopefully you have already read about Speedo’s PullKick Board so there is no need for a PULL BOUY. If you have a separate kick board and PULL BOUY then I have also suggested another option.

NOTE: when using a pull bouy it should be used in combination with a BAND. Bands are just tyre inner tubes cut across the width. They provide a little more stability whilst using a pull buoy.

JX and State Squad PADDLES:

Paddles are extremely useful for developing strength through the shoulders. It is preferred that swimmers have Hand Paddles as appose to Finger Paddles. Then it is just a case of getting the right size, generally about a couple of centimetres excess around the hand is great.

Uniform Guide

Deck Coats

Our new Embroidery company is able to provide a quick service to embroider polo tops and deck coats.

Most swimmers have now had their deck coats embrodered with their name on the front and 'LILYDALE' across the back of their coat. If you missed this opportunity, please see Sue to arrange to have your deck coat embroidered.

Polo Tops

LSC Polo Tops must be worn to all competitions.  For all presentations, swimmers must have on the club polo top with pants, towels must not be worn.

Bathers

Royal blue or black bathers should be worn to all competitions.(Please make sure your bathers comply with any FINA regulations which are available on the FINA website). If you would like the club logo placed on the back of your bathers please speak to the Uniform Co-ordinator - Sue Ringer.

Swimmers are able to wear their choice of coloured bathers to training - bikinis are not acceptable.
