Congratulations to Matthew Haanappel who competed at the Age Nationals in Canberra and achieved the following amazing results:
400 Free : 5.56.03 ( PB of 23 sec ) (Aust Age Record )
100 Free: 1.13.66 ( PB of 5 sec ) (Open Australian Record and Age Record ) .
50 Free : 33.58 ( .50 PB ) (Australian Open Record and Age Record )
100 Back : 1.27.86 ( Open Australian and Age Record )
50 Back: 41.41 PB ( Age Record )
50 Breast : 49.77 ( PB is 49.09 )
100 Breast : 1.53.33 ( PBis 1.48.72 ) ( Matt holds Aust Open & Age record )

2010 All Junior Competition

Lilydale Swimming Club had 22 swimmers racing at the District East Trials for All Juniors on Saturday the 20th of February.
Some amazing P.B's were done on the day with 8 swimmers achieving a top 10 place to move through to the finals.
Swimmers enjoyed a great day of racing and celebrated afterwards with a dinner for 40!

At State Age Champs we had over 70% PB's!
Congratulations to Andrew Fisch and Matthew Haanappel for their efforts at the State Champs. Matthew broke 3 Australian records for his classification. Matthew made 7 finals and Andrew Fisch made 4. Great efforts by both swimmers.

December Comps Week 1 & 2 - Results
At the December Comps more amazing results were achieved under the coaching of Lawrence. Our swimmers achieved 32 out of 36 PB's! Some standout performances were achieved by the 400m freestylers with the largest PB being a whopping 1min 2 seconds!

Congratulations to the 22 Lilydale Swimmers who swam at the Tritons Meet on Sunday the 22nd November. There were many great achievements in the pool.(see Sean Moroney below). From the 78 events swum approximately 80% were personal best times!

Well done to Ashleigh, Kia Beth, Ryder and Spencer who all swam for the first time at MSAC.
There were many PB's achieved in both short course and long course times! Well done to all swimmers on a fantastic day!
